4:30 CALL for Meridian Guest Singers
Full rehearsal of Meridian on Stage 4:30-5:30
CONCERT:
Friday June 2nd: Concert Starts at 6:30
Meridian is last on the program!
We encourage everyone to attend the concert,
but if you can't and would still like to participate
CALL for Meridian Guest Singers is 7:45.
Please sit in the audience, or hang out in the Gym until we reach Meridian.
CONCERT ATTIRE:
White long-sleeve shirt, black pants, longer-than-knee-length skirt, black socks/tights, black shoes.
OR all black. No bare ankles, please; no sheer hose/socks.
DIRECTOR'S NOTES:
The PDF of the score is marked for breaths and phrasing.
There is a great deal of dissonance in this work. Please listen for close dissonance in your part.
Be prepared to sing it in a very forward/direct tone with little-to-no vibrato.
Be prepared to modify vowels in the humming/ooh sections based on how loud we need to be.
