I can't recommend it enough: Fender Play Here's a video of me messing with loops as a compositional tool, particularly for those of you who don't feel confident playing music or aren't able to play music at home right now.
This week, please 1) do the forum 2) mess with soundtrap, become familiar with creating songs from loops, making your own loops, adding effects, mixing, etc. I am going to create more videos throughout the week guiding you through these. Feel free to share things with me. I love hearing it!
4/7/20: Today we are working on getting to know Soundtrap. The user code for you is: YW3QQXA 3/30/20: Great to see everyone. Like I said, this will be the go-to for what's happening in rock band during remote times. The plan for this week is to have two groups of volunteers check out the two collaborative recording platforms we discussed, Soundtrap and Band Lab. I encourage everyone to mess around with both of these platforms! I also introduced the class to the music forum, which I would like each of you to do each week.
