For today, Friday September 1 the schedule is Band, Orchestra, Chorus.
If you aren’t in Band, you go to lunch first.
If you are in Band and Orchestra, you go to lunch during Chorus.
If you are in Band and Chorus, you go to lunch during Orchestra.
If you are in ALL THREE, Band, Orchestra and Chorus, you’ll go to lunch part way through Orchestra (we are just going to meet for a bit and chat about the plan since there’s a large mix of beginners).
You’ll get the hang of it, I SWEAR! 31 August: Jazz All State Audition Materials are HERE: www.mainemmea.org/jazz-all-state-audition-material.html Jazz All State Auditions are on October 13 at University of Maine in Augusta. All students 9-12 should consider auditioning! Auditioning leads to massive growth and the more you do it 1) the better you get at auditioning and 2) the better you get at playing music. It's entirely painless and super fun. We take a bus down during the day and stop for lunch at Panera and just have a blast! Freshman should especially consider auditioning! Sign up for jazz improv class for more assistance! Also sign up for practice room time with Remy to work one on one or in small groups!
