The MDI Music Boosters are a dedicated and active group who offer multiple fundraising opportunities every year. Money collected during fundraising efforts go into students' personal music accounts and/or the Boosters' general account to help support various music department programs and activities. PEP Coffee Sales When: Mid September - Mid October PEP Coffee sales - sell bags of Giving Bean coffee with our very own logo. $5/bag goes right into your student account.
MDI Marathon Pre-Race Pasta Dinner When: Saturday, October, 19, 2019 Help us "carbo-load" the runners!! We provide a pasta feast and 100% of proceeds from this fundraiser go to our summer scholarship fund. If you've received a scholarship in the past, come pay it forward with pasta!! Citrus Sale Each year in November Fresh delicious oranges, grapefruit, and apples from Florida are ordered in November and delivered before the December break. See any music student or Music Booster for ordering information. Students can earn up to $10 per box of citrus sold, with earnings going to their Student Account.
Returnable Bottle Collection Boxes (Ongoing/Year-round) The Music Boosters have two returnable collection boxes around Mt. Desert Island. Students may sign up on a rotating schedule to empty and take returnables to a redemption site. 75% of profits will go into the Student’s Account, with the remainder going to the Booster general fund to help support our music programs.
